Wisconsin Supreme Court Upholds Record Lemon Law Award

The Wisconsin Supreme Court has upheld a $482,000 lemon law verdict against Mercedes Benz. The original lawsuit was for $56,000, but several appeals increased the court costs and attorney’s fees – fees that must now be paid by Mercedes-Benz.
This is a big win for consumer rights because it will discourage large companies, such as Mercedes, from trying to out-spend and out-litigate consumers who bring claims against them (a common tactic). Here’s the link:
